Folding Memorial Cards
From €55.00
Folding memorial cards are the cards Irish families hand out after a funeral Mass and keep for years afterwards. Depending on the part of the country you are from you may know them as memorial cards, memoriam cards, mortuary cards, memory cards, remembrance cards or simply funeral cards — they are all this card, printed on 350gsm board, folded to A6 and laminated.
Every card is designed by our own team here in Gorey, Co. Wexford, using your own photographs and your own choice of words. Design, proof revisions, envelopes and VAT are all included in the price — nothing is templated and sent out unseen.
Inside there is room for a full-page verse or prayer beside the photograph, the dates, and a line naming the family. Most families order 100, which covers the households at the funeral with reprints in mind, and we keep your artwork on file so extra cards can be run later at the same price band.

Folding Memorial Cards — Frequently Asked Questions
- Are memorial cards, memoriam cards and mortuary cards the same thing?
- In everyday use in Ireland, yes — they are all names for the personalised card given out after a funeral, and this is the card families mean. Signed Mass cards and mortuary Mass cards from a parish are a different item; we print those to order and quote for them job by job.
- How many words fit inside a folding memorial card?
- A full-page verse or prayer of up to about twenty lines sits comfortably inside, alongside the photograph, the name, the dates and a family line. If your wording is longer we will set it and show you on the proof before anything is printed.
- What photographs work best?
- The sharpest photograph you have, ideally the original rather than a photograph of a photograph. We retouch and repair as part of the design, and older prints can be scanned or posted to us.
- How much do folding memorial cards cost?
- Folding memorial cards start at €55 for 15 cards and run to €396 for 400 cards. Quantity discounts apply per design, so ordering more of the same card brings the price per card down. Every price includes full colour printing on both sides, a gloss or matte laminate and envelopes.
- How long do folding memorial cards take?
- We print and post within 2–3 business days of you approving the proof, anywhere in Ireland. Delivery is free on orders over €150.
- Can you help me choose a verse?
- Yes. Our memorial verses library is organised by short, long, religious, non-religious and verses for a mother, father or child. Quote the verse ID when you order and we will set it for you.
- Do you design the card for me?
- Yes. Design by our own team is included in the price, along with VAT. Send us your photographs and wording and we will build the full layout, then email a proof for approval. The only extra is delivery, and that is free on orders over €150.
