Every card we print is made around one particular person. You choose the photograph, the wording, the verse and the design, and nothing prints until you have seen it and are happy.

What you choose

Six things that make the card yours

You do not have to decide it all at once. Most families settle the photograph first and work out the rest on the proof.

  • The photograph

    One on the front, or several inside if you would like. Send whatever you have — we can straighten, tidy and lift an old picture, and scan a printed one for you in the shop.

  • The wording

    Name, dates, address or townland, and how the family would like the person named. We type it as you give it to us and you check every word on the proof.

  • The verse or prayer

    Hundreds to choose from, religious and non-religious, or send us your own words, a line from a song, or something in Irish.

  • The design and border

    Celtic borders, Sacred Heart and religious symbols, landscapes and photography themes, or something plain and quiet.

  • The card itself

    Folding card, bookmark, wallet card or acknowledgement card — the same design carries across all of them.

  • The finish

    350gsm board with a gloss or matte laminate, so it lasts in a purse or on a mantelpiece for years.

Questions about personalising a card

How personalised can a memorial card be?
Entirely. The photograph, the wording, the verse, the border, the symbols and the card type are all yours to choose. If you want something we do not show on the site, ring us — most of what we print began as a family asking for something particular.
Can I use my own verse or a family poem?
Of course. Send us the words and we will set them out. We can print in Irish as well, and we will check the spelling and spacing with you on the proof.
Can you put more than one photograph on a card?
Yes. Many families put one on the front and another inside, or a couple together on an anniversary card. Send what you have and we will tell you what fits comfortably.
What if the only photograph we have is old or damaged?
Send it anyway. We can often clean up marks, creases and faded colour. If it will not print well at the size needed, we will tell you straight rather than let you find out on the finished cards.
Do I pay extra for personalisation?
No. Every price on our prices page includes the design work and the proof revisions. Design by our team and VAT included. Free delivery over €150, or collect free in Gorey.
