Keepsakes that are actually kept

Each one finds its own place in a family's home.

  • The folding card, on a mantelpiece

    The traditional folding memorial card, 105 x 148mm, stood open on a shelf or mantelpiece, or kept in a drawer and taken out around an anniversary. It is usually the first thing a family orders, and often the one kept longest.

  • The bookmark, in a missal

    A memorial bookmark, 55 x 175mm, laid inside a missal or prayer book and seen every time it is opened at Mass. Many families choose a bookmark precisely because it gets used, not just stored.

  • The wallet card, carried for years

    A small wallet card, 85 x 55mm, sized to sit behind a driving licence or in a purse. We regularly reprint a wallet card for a family because the original, years later, has finally worn through from being carried.

  • The acknowledgement card

    Sent to thank those who called to the house, attended the removal or Mass, or sent flowers and Mass cards. It is a keepsake for the person who receives it too, often kept alongside the memorial card itself.

Board and laminate, and why they matter

  • Gloss laminate, which shows a photograph at its sharpest and brightest
  • Matte laminate, which softens glare and suits a quieter, more restrained design
  • Lamination protects the card from fingermarks, damp and fading over years of handling

Questions about memorial keepsakes

What counts as a memorial keepsake?
Anything printed to remember someone by and kept afterwards — a folding memorial card, a bookmark, a wallet card, or an acknowledgement card sent in thanks. All four are keepsakes in their own way.
Which keepsake lasts longest?
All of them are printed on the same 350gsm board with gloss or matte lamination, so they hold up well. A wallet card sees the most handling since it is carried daily, which is why we print it on the same durable stock as the rest.
Can I order more than one type of keepsake for the same person?
Yes, and many families do — a folding card for the removal and funeral, a bookmark for the missal, and a wallet card for close family to carry. The design can carry across all three.
Why does the board and laminate matter?
A wallet card in particular is handled for years, often daily. A heavier board and a proper laminate keep the photograph and lettering from fading, creasing or marking the way a thin, uncoated print would.
How much do memorial keepsakes cost?
Folding cards are €55 for 15 and €168 for 100. Bookmarks start from €75, wallet cards from €50, and acknowledgement cards from €45. Design and VAT are included throughout.
