Memorial Cards From Abroad
For Irish families in Britain, the United States, Australia and further afield, arranging memorial cards for a funeral at home or for relatives abroad. Printed in Gorey, Co. Wexford, and handled entirely by phone and email.
How It Works
Ordering from overseas
Nothing about being abroad changes how we work — the proof is still emailed, and nothing is printed until you approve it.
Email or phone us your details
A clear photograph, the full name and dates, and the wording or verse. Time zones are no trouble — email whenever suits and we will reply during our working day.
We email a proof for approval
You can check it from anywhere — a phone, a laptop, wherever you are. Nothing is printed until you are happy with it.
We print and post
Cards are printed within 2–3 business days of your approval. Most families ask us to post to an Irish address in time for the funeral; we can also post further afield by An Post — ring or email us and we will confirm postage and timing for your address.
Ringing or emailing from outside Ireland
Call us on +353 53 94 22900 if dialling from outside the Republic of Ireland, or email info@printhouse.ie at any hour — we reply during our working day, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Irish time.
Most families ask us to post the finished cards to an address in Ireland in time for the funeral. If you would like cards posted on to you abroad as well, cards travel by An Post — we will confirm postage and how long it is taking for your country when you enquire, rather than quote a price we cannot stand over.

- I'm in Britain / the US / Australia — can I still order?
- Yes. We regularly design and print for Irish families living abroad, arranging cards for a funeral at home or to send on to relatives. Everything is handled by phone and email.
- What number do I ring from outside Ireland?
- Dial +353 53 94 22900 if you are calling from outside the Republic of Ireland, or email info@printhouse.ie and we will call or write back.
- Can the cards be posted straight to the funeral in Ireland?
- Yes, that is the most common arrangement — we post to whichever Irish address you give us, whether that's your own house, a relative's, or the funeral director, in time for the service.
- Can you post cards on to me abroad afterwards?
- We can post by An Post to most countries. We won't guess at a price or a delivery time for posting outside the Republic — ring or email us with the address and we will confirm postage and how long it is taking before you order.
- Do I need to know Irish time to ring you?
- Our shop is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Irish time, closed 1 to 2 for lunch. Email works any time — send it whenever suits you and we will reply the next working day. Phone is 053 94 22900.
- Can you use a photograph sent from a phone?
- Yes, most photographs we receive come from a phone. Send the clearest, most in-focus version you have and we will tell you honestly if it needs a better copy before we print.
Ordering from abroad?
Our design team will guide you through photographs, wording and layout. Call us or send an email and we will look after the rest — anywhere in Ireland.
