Whether the occasion is small or attended by many, we can print to suit.
What is usually printed
The same photograph, name and dates used before, sometimes with a line marking the blessing or unveiling of the headstone and the date it took place. Some families keep the wording exactly as their original card; others update it for the occasion.
How many cards
This depends on who is attending — a headstone blessing can be a small family gathering or a wider occasion with neighbours and friends present. Folding cards are available from 15 upwards, so either suits.
Matching an earlier card
If the family already has a memorial card from the funeral or a previous anniversary, we can match its border, lettering and photograph closely, so the headstone card sits alongside it as part of the same set.
Matching what you already have
If you ordered your original memorial card from us, we already hold the artwork on file and can reprint or adjust it quickly. If it was printed elsewhere, a clear photograph of the card is usually enough for us to match the border, lettering and layout closely.

- Do families usually order a card for a headstone blessing?
- Many do, particularly when the blessing is attended by a number of people. It gives everyone present something to keep, and marks the occasion alongside the memorial card ordered at the funeral.
- Can you match our original funeral memorial card?
- Yes. We hold artwork on file for cards we have printed before, and if you have a card from another printer, send us a photograph of it and we will match the design as closely as we can.
- Should the wording mention the headstone unveiling?
- That's a personal choice. Some families add a short line noting the date of the blessing; others keep the wording exactly as the original memorial card. We can show you both options on the proof.
- How long does it take to print cards for a headstone blessing?
- Once you approve the proof, we print and post within 2–3 business days. If the date of the blessing is set, let us know and we will work to have the cards with you in good time.
- Can we order a small number just for close family?
- Yes, folding cards start at €55 for 15, so a small run for close family is no problem. If more people attend than expected, further copies can be printed later since we keep the artwork on file.
